Alright guys, ive been staring at these 4-hour charts since about 5 AM this morning with my third cup of cold brew, and honestly my eyes are burning. But we seriously need to talk about what Ethereum is doing right now because the setup is looking way too clean to ignore. If you caught that bounce down at the $2,165 swing low, pat yourself on the back, because that was textbook liquidity sweeping before the recovery wave kicked in. I actually tried scalping a tiny long right there on my phone while waiting in line for gas, missed my fill by like two bucks on my limit order, and chased it a bit higher like an absolute degen. Classic fomo behavior, I know, but sometimes you just gotta take the trade when the structure lines up.
Right now, the whole market is kind of mixed with macro stuff dragging down commodities like oil and pulling the Loonie off its recent highs, but crypto is marching to its own drum per usual. Look at the ETH/USD 4-hour chart and pull up a standard trendline from the previous highs. You will see this massive bearish trend line sitting right around the $2,300 resistance zone. Every single time we test it, the sellers step in and try to push us back down into the dirt, leaving everyone who bought the local top completely rekt. But here is the thing that has my alerts going crazy. The dips are getting shallower. That is the definition of accumulation, folks. Sellers are losing their punch, and open interest is starting to creep back up without a crazy amount of leverage building on the longs, which is super healthy compared to what we saw a few weeks ago when funding rates were totally fried.
If we can get a clean 4-hour candle close above $2,300 with decent volume confirmation, the path of least resistance opens up fast. Im talking about a quick march toward the next major liquidity pocket near the mid-2400s before anyone even has time to panic-buy the breakout. Of course, Bitcoin is still struggling to push past that heavy overhead wall near $80,000, and if BTC decides to roll over and take a dump, altcoins are gonna bleed right along with it no matter what the individual chart says. XRP is also just sitting there doing nothing below the $1.30 pivot, consolidating sideways like it's dead, which tells me alt liquidity is hyper-focused right now. You cant just blindly ape into everything.
Anyway, I am keeping my stop loss tight just underneath the recent consolidation range because if this breakout fails, it's going to be a brutal fakeout. Are you guys loading up here or waiting for the actual retest of the breakout level before throwing more capital at it?
