Good morning, everyone. While reviewing my multi-timeframe charts over a strong cup of coffee this morning, my attention was immediately drawn to the developing price action on the EURUSD pair. Sitting down to map out the weekly and daily structural levels, it became clear that we are approaching a pivotal inflection point that demands a closer technical look. For the past several sessions, market participants have been hyper-focused on macroeconomic data releases, but the raw chart geometry is finally telling a compelling story worth analyzing in depth.

Let us dive straight into the structural setup. EURUSD recently executed a crisp, text-book reversal from a key support zone clustered squarely around the 1.1120 handle. This specific level is far from arbitrary; it previously acted as a formidable floor that halted impulse wave one back in mid-October. Furthermore, confluence is the trader's best friend, and this horizontal support perfectly aligns with the lower daily Bollinger Band. When you see price action rejecting lower extremes right at a major historical inflection point backed by volatility band boundaries, the probability matrix begins to tilt in favor of the bulls.

Looking ahead at the upside trajectory, the primary target zone that commands our attention sits firmly at the 1.1260 resistance level. As momentum indicators begin to curl upward on the four-hour chart, the path of least resistance in the near term points toward a measured test of this overhead supply. However, navigating this setup requires disciplined execution rather than blind optimism. I am currently scaling my position sizing to account for potential intraday chop, keeping my invalidation stops tightly managed just beneath the 1.1100 psychological threshold. If the pair breaks that structural floor, the entire thesis is neutralized, and we have to respect the invalidation rather than fighting a deeper retracement.

The broader foreign exchange landscape also provides interesting cross-market context, particularly when examining how capital is rotating away from weaker European fundamentals. Take EURGBP, for instance, which has been grinding near the bottom of a four-day narrow consolidation range just above its multi-month low at 0.8361, a level we haven't touched since May 2025. The macro backdrop there is heavily skewed by negative data, highlighted most recently by French consumer confidence dropping to alarming lows, which triggered a vicious upside rejection and a heavy bearish daily candle featuring an extended upper shadow. Yet, even under that intense fundamental pressure, the sheer velocity of the downside move has pushed the cross into heavily oversold territory on the lower timeframes, generating localized headwinds for aggressive bears.

Returning to our primary EURUSD thesis, the intersection of wave analysis and technical boundaries gives us a clean risk-to-reward ratio for the upcoming sessions. Breakout traders should keep a close eye on volume expansion as price approaches the midpoint of the current channel. If the bulls manage to clear the immediate moving average resistance with strong momentum bars, a swift acceleration toward that 1.1260 objective becomes our base-case scenario.

Are you scaling into longs at these current support levels, or are you waiting for a confirmed structural break of resistance before allocating capital?
