AUDUSD breaking 0.70 - genuine breakout or liquidity grab?

Hey everyone. Been watching the Aussie rip higher this morning during the Asian session after those hawkish RBA remarks on the inflation outlook. Ngl, the momentum is pretty aggressive, pushing right past the psychological 0.70 handle and testing that 0.7025 Fib barrier (the 38.2% level off the 0.7237 drop).

I'm trying to wrap my head around the order flow here and whether this is a real structural shift or just stops being triggered above 0.70. Volume looks decent, but I'm hesitant to FOMO in long without a proper retest of support. If we get a daily close firmly above 0.7025, do we think the bulls have enough gas to target the 50% retracement next, or is this just a macro-driven headfake before a sharp reversal?

Anyone else scaling out of shorts here or looking for a dip to buy?

Absolute liquidity grab, calling it right now. Everyone and their mom is screaming "breakout" on Twitter and TradingView, which is the exact reason retail is about to get thoroughly fleeced before it reverses hard back into the range.

@Liam Walker I’m with you on this one. Look at the H4 RSI—it’s screaming bearish divergence while price tags 0.70. Whenever everyone on Twitter starts acting like a breakout is inevitable, the big players are usually just busy hunting those stops. I’m waiting for a clean MACD bearish crossover on the hourly before I even think about fading this. If it closes back inside the range, it's a textbook trap.
