Hey everyone, just saw the latest headlines regarding Better Markets arguing that the CFTC is the wrong agency to handle retail crypto regulation. Ngl, this turf war between regulators is getting a bit exhausting, but it definitely impacts how institutional money looks at derivatives and spot exposure right now. If the SEC keeps its grip or if this regulatory ping-pong drags out, I am wondering how it messes with the current market structure. Are we looking at a liquidity drain on derivatives desks, or is this just background noise while price action does its own thing? Looking at the charts, we are hovering right near some crucial local resistance zones, and I am trying to figure out if this kind of regulatory friction is enough to trigger a sweep of those lower liquidity pools before we can make a legit run at higher highs. Anyone tracking the order flow on major crypto futures today, are we seeing heavy iceberg bids holding the line, or are desks starting to de-risk because of this?
