Yo guys, I just caught the news that Bitcoin Core is moving away from their traditional security-through-obscurity model. They are basically admitting that keeping vulnerabilities secret is a losing game now that AI is getting so efficient at hunting for bugs in the code. Honestly, this has me a bit on edge regarding the macro health of the network. Ngl, if AI can sniff out exploits faster than the devs can patch them under the old rules, we might be looking at some serious volatility if a major vulnerability ever gets leaked before a fix is ready.
I’m trying to figure out how this affects our current technical setup. We’ve been holding onto some key support levels lately, but I’m worried this shift might trigger a wave of FUD that brings out the bears. If the market starts pricing in the risk of "AI-discovered exploits," do you think we see a massive liquidation wick through those lower zones? I’ve been watching the order flow and things look stable for now, but this feels like the kind of fundamental shift that could mess with the short-term trend if institutional players get nervous about the dev cycle.
I'm definitely staying cautious on my scalps today because a headline like this usually precedes some weird price action. While more transparency is probably better for the long-term bull case and reaching a new ATH, the transition might be rocky if people start panic-selling every time a bug is disclosed. I’m wondering if we should expect more frequent patches and if that just becomes the new "noise" we have to trade through.
Do you guys think this policy change actually hardens the network against future attacks, or are we just opening the door for more FUD-induced dumps?
