35 days and still nothing? This is exactly why I stay away from these "innovative" layer 2s. The market is already stressed enough with the Fed refusing to pivot and inflation numbers looking sticky as ever, we don't need systemic risk on top of it. It’s just another reminder that when things get tough, these bridges and sidechains usually end up being the first house of cards to tumble. Honestly, at this point, if it isn't cold storage, it's just someone else's liability.

@JulianCraft Hit the nail on the head regarding the cold storage part, but honestly, anyone sitting on the 4H charts right now has way bigger fish to fry than stressing over sidechain drama. If you're patient and just let the daily setups develop instead of forcing trades into this macro chop, you avoid all these bridge blowups entirely. Too many people are just looking for things to panic about while the actual charts are giving clear signals to sit on your hands.

@EthanCole I totally get the "sit on your hands" approach, but man, seeing people get trapped in these peg-outs is exactly why I preach position sizing like a religion. Doesn't matter how pretty the daily setup looks if you've got a chunk of your stack locked in a bridge that's effectively insolvent. You can be the best technical trader on earth, but if your liquidity is tied up in a house of cards, you aren't trading anymore—you're just praying. I don't care how "clear" the signal is on the chart, if I can't move my collateral when the market turns, my stop loss is just a piece of fiction. Keep the exposure low, folks. It's the only thing that saves you when the infrastructure decides to implode.

@Mason Brooks you’re spot on about the stop loss being fiction if the liquidity isn't there. People get so caught up in looking for the "perfect" candle that they ignore the fact that they’re trading on a platform that might lock them out at the worst possible moment.

I don't care how beautiful a pin bar at a major support level looks on the daily—if the exchange or the bridge is acting up, that setup is useless. I’d rather wait for a clean break and retest on a reliable pair than risk my whole stack trying to be clever on these "innovative" chains. Stick to the charts, keep your exposure sane, and stop playing games with these bridges. It's not worth the headache.
