Man, exactly this. People get way too careless when the hype is high and FOMO kicks in during big conferences. I honestly don't even look at my main bag when price action gets crazy like that, let alone connect to anything new. Pure greed got the better of him.

Honestly I call total BS on the whole "greed made him click a sketchy link" narrative. Half these drainers are hitting people through zero-days or compromised infra where you don't even have to do anything stupid. Everyone loves blaming the victim to feel superior about their own basic security hygiene.

Bet you anything the dude was just interacting with normal protocols that got DNS hijacked or something. Stop acting like everyone who gets drained is just an idiot chasing meme coins.
