Hey guys, hope everyone is making bank today. I was just reading the latest Financial Services roundup talking about Experian and SoFi Technologies, and ngl my brain is kind of fried trying to figure out what it all means. I’ve been wanting to get into fintech and credit stocks for a minute now but I'm super scared of getting hit by massive fomo and buying at the wrong time.

For the experienced traders in here, how do these "Market Talk" roundups actually affect the price action? Like, when big names like SoFi get highlighted, does it usually trigger a pump that we can scalp, or is it better to just buy and hold these long-term? I really don't want to end up holding a bag if I try to play this without a strategy.

Any advice on how to read these reports and trade them would be amazing. Are you guys bullish on SoFi right now, or should I stay on the sidelines?

Honestly I wouldn't sweat the "market talk" roundups too much, most of that stuff is just noise trying to create quick hype. If you're looking at SoFi right now, pull up the daily chart and check the MACD—we're hovering right near a crossover and the RSI is showing some bullish divergence on the lower timeframes. Don't chase random pumps or you'll definitely end up bagholding. Just wait for a clean pullback to support before you throw any money at it.

Spot on, mate. The guy above nailed it. Ignore the noise in those roundups completely; they're usually just trying to trap retail traders into chasing green candles. Pull up the daily chart, walk away from the screen, and wait for the actual price action to come to your levels. Patience pays way better than FOMO ever will.
