Does the Yen have any hope left with these energy prices?

Hey everyone, I’m still pretty new to the forex scene and I’ve been trying to wrap my head around what’s going on with the Yen lately. I keep seeing headlines about it being under double pressure because of energy costs and the Fed holding firm on rates, and honestly, it’s making my head spin a bit. Ngl, I thought maybe the Bank of Japan would step in more aggressively, but it sounds like they’re just going to keep rates steady for now while inflation keeps creeping up.

I’m really struggling to understand how this actually impacts my charts. If they don't hike the rate this month but suggest maybe doing it in December, does that usually lead to a massive sell-off or do you guys think the market has already priced that in? I’m terrified of catching a falling knife here, and I don't want to get hit with major FOMO or a bad entry just because I don't grasp the fundamentals yet. Should I be looking to scalp this or is it safer to just stay on the sidelines until the meeting on the 30th? Would love to hear how you seasoned traders are positioning yourselves for this.
