Hey guys, I was just checking the news and saw that Asian currencies are taking a huge hit because the dollar just hit a two-month high, and apparently the yen is getting super close to 160. Ngl, I'm kind of lost looking at these charts. Does this mean forex is just all-in on the USD right now? I'm trying to figure out how this actually impacts my watchlist for the week and if I should just hold off on any new trades until things calm down. Any experienced traders here have some advice for someone still trying to figure out macro stuff without getting rekt? What are you guys doing with your currency pairs today?

Honestly, it feels like everyone and their mother is chasing the dollar right now, but that's exactly when you need to be careful. When you see big moves like that Yen slide, the worst thing you can do is jump in at the top just because of the FOMO. I usually just step back and look at my 4H charts; if the setup isn't crystal clear, I don't touch it.

Patience pays, man.

If you're still learning, don't worry about trying to catch every single pip move while the market is this volatile. Let the dust settle a bit. I’ve got most of my positions sidelined today until I see a decent consolidation or a proper pull-back. Just protect your capital and don't force anything.

It's definitely moving, but don't let the headlines get in your head. 160 on the Yen is a massive psychological level and we're basically trading into a wall right now. I’m just watching for a clean price action signal like a solid rejection candle or a pullback to a clear support level before I do anything. If the chart is just a vertical line, there’s no high-probability setup for me. I'd rather miss a move than chase one into major resistance.
