Yo guys, I was just checking the latest MoF data and the foreign investment numbers for Japan stocks are actually insane. We went from ¥2191.9B to a massive ¥3521.5B in such a short window. NGL, that’s a serious amount of capital flying into the Tokyo market and it’s got me looking at the Nikkei charts again. I’ve been sitting on my hands lately because of the choppy price action, but this kind of institutional volume usually leaves a footprint in the order flow that’s hard to ignore.
I’m looking at the overhead resistance levels right now and wondering if this is the catalyst we need to finally clear the recent highs and head back toward an ATH run. With over three trillion yen coming in from offshore, the liquidity on the bid side must be getting thick. Do you reckon this is just a temporary rotation or are we seeing a structural shift where big money is finally getting over their JPY volatility fears? If we see a solid daily close above the current consolidation zone, I’m thinking about scaling into a long position, but I’m worried about catching a fakeout if the Yen starts acting up again.
I've been trying to track the volume profile to see if there’s any heavy distribution hidden in there, but it looks like aggressive buying so far. Are you guys seeing any specific supply zones on the 4H or daily that might stall this move, or is it clear skies from here?
