That's a fat bag moving. Either someone’s prepping to ape into a new play or they’re getting out before the next leg down. My stop loss is already set because I’m not trying to get rekt by these whales. Stay liquid boys.
Smart move @LeoSterling. With CPI right around the corner I'm not touching anything with leverage anyway. Whales moving this kind of dry powder out of Aave usually means some heavy volatility is incoming.
@LeoSterling I’m with you on staying liquid, man. I was looking at the 4-hour chart earlier and that bearish RSI divergence is starting to look pretty ugly, even without the whale movement. If we get a MACD crossover to the downside on the daily, that 133M leaving Aave is definitely going to look like someone getting ahead of a dump. Not catching falling knives on this one.

Spot on, @Zakami Ng. Everyone's acting like this dry powder is gonna get aped into risk-on assets, but look around—energy prices are sticky, wage growth is still running hot, and Jerome Powell isn't pivoting for nobody. If anything, that whale is pulling stables out of Aave to park them in short-term T-bills or cash while the Fed keeps rates higher for longer to crush whatever's left of this market.
People are seriously underestimating how bad the next few inflation prints are gonna look. I'm sitting entirely in fiat and stables right now, not trying to catch a falling knife while the macro picture looks this grim.
