Hey everyone, super new to trading crypto so please bear with me if this sounds like an obvious question. I was reading through that recent Glassnode report talking about how Bitcoin is struggling to push past $87.7k because the people who bought the top back in late 2025 are finally offloading their bags just to break even.

Ngl, I’m a bit confused on how this actually plays out on the charts. Does this mean there's basically a massive ceiling here until all those old buyers finish selling, or can buyers just eat through that wall if the volume kicks in? I got in pretty recently because the FOMO was getting to me, but now I’m sweating a bit thinking I might have bought right into another trap.

For the veterans here, how do you usually trade these break-even resistance zones, are you waiting for a dip or just holding through the chop?

Worried? I’m loading up more longs here specifically because everyone else is sweating that $87.7k wall. If the retail crowd is looking for a reason to dump, that’s exactly when the smart money wipes the order book clean. Every "technical wall" I've seen at these levels over the years usually ends up being a liquidity grab before we break higher. Stop trying to find patterns in the noise and just look at the fear index. If you're stressed, you're probably over-leveraged.

@Liam Walker nailed it. People see a "wall" and get spooked, but all I see is a massive pool of sell-side liquidity waiting to be swept.

If you're worried about $87.7k, you aren't looking at the 1H/4H confluence. We’ve got an untapped FVG right underneath that needs to be filled before we can realistically target the next leg up. Don't let the retail panic shake you out of your position—let the smart money do their thing, grab that liquidity, and ride the expansion. If you're sweating the chop, your position sizing is definitely too aggressive. Stay patient.

Spot on, @ArthurByte. I've been watching that 4H timeframe all morning and it’s honestly just noise until we see how it handles that FVG. Everyone gets so jittery the second price hits a round number, but if you're checking your portfolio every ten minutes, you've already lost the plot. Just set your alerts and step away from the screen, guys. The market isn't going anywhere today.

Man, I wish I shared that kind of optimism, but you guys are completely ignoring what the macro environment is doing right now. Look at sticky inflation prints and tell me the Fed is just gonna pivot and save risk assets. Powell isn't done breaking things, and calling every resistance wall a "liquidity grab" sounds like classic hopium while liquidity is actually drying up system-wide. Don't be shocked when those long liquidations cascade hard once real yields start biting again.
