EURUSD 1.1300 support bounce A quick lesson on not chasing breakouts

Saw the latest wave analysis pointing out EURUSD bouncing off that key 1.1300 support and the lower daily Bollinger Band, and man, it really brought back some memories. Back when I was starting out, I used to see a massive bearish move like that and immediately try to scalp the breakout, only to get absolutely wrecked when it hit a multi-month low and reversed hard on me. Ngl, the FOMO of missing a big trend down used to blind me to the obvious demand zones. Watching this bounce toward 1.1400 is a textbook reminder of why we wait for confluence. When you get a major historical support level lining up perfectly with the lower daily BB, the odds of a relief rally or a full wave reversal shoot right up.

If you guys are looking to play this move up to 1.1400, my biggest piece of advice from years of blowing up accounts is to keep your stop loss tight and never get greedy. Personally, I like to set my invalidation level just below that 1.1300 swing low. If the market breaks that, the bullish thesis is completely dead, and there is absolutely no shame in taking a paper cut instead of a massive bleed. Risk management is the only thing keeping us in this game, mates. I have learned the hard way that trying to "hope" a trade back into profit is a fast track to liquidation. I am sitting on my hands for a bit to see if we get a decent retest of the daily support before jumping in, but the setup is definitely tempting.

Classic fakeout. Saw so many people panic-shorting right into 1.1300 expecting a massive breakdown, but the 1H chart was literally screaming bullish RSI divergence into that level.

Once MACD gave that clean bullish crossover right above the zero line, it was a no-brainer long. Trading level to level with indicator confirmation will save your account from chasing those fake breakouts every single time.
