Hey everyone, I just caught the news that the Fisher Transform for Bitcoin printed a bullish cross on the higher timeframes. For those who don’t track this specific metric, it’s a pretty big deal—it’s only happened three times before in BTC's entire history.
I remember back in 2020 when we saw a similar setup. At the time, the hype was deafening, and it’s easy to get swept up in the "to the moon" sentiment when these "rare" signals flash. But if my years in these markets have taught me anything, it’s that indicators are map markers, not crystal balls. The Fisher Transform is excellent for identifying turning points and price extremes, but even the strongest signal can be invalidated by a sudden macro shift.
In my earlier trading days, I probably would have seen this headline and gone 20x long immediately. Now? I’m using this as a signal to tighten my strategy, not to gamble.
