Totally lost with all this crypto news today

Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to keep up with the market lately but honestly, it feels like there is just way too much happening at once. I keep seeing headlines about Bitcoin price swings and all these updates on DeFi and regulation, but I’m struggling to figure out which ones actually matter for my tiny portfolio. Ngl, I’m feeling a bit of FOMO when things start moving fast, but I’m also terrified of making a stupid move and losing my stack.

Are you guys actually reading all these daily news updates before you decide to trade, or do you just ignore the noise and stick to the charts? Is there a specific site or metric you look at to tell if a move is real or just a trap? I’m just trying not to get wrecked while I’m still learning the ropes. Any advice for a newbie trying to make sense of all this madness would be seriously appreciated.

Man, honestly? I just ignore like 95% of the news. 90% of it is just paid PR or people trying to exit their bags on retail. If you're stressing over every single headline, you're already playing their game.

Just tune out the noise, protect your capital, and never risk more than 1-2% of your stack on any single trade. If you don't have a hard stop loss set before you even enter a position, the news doesn't even matter because you're just gambling anyway. Stay safe out there.
