USDCHF bouncing off 0.8200, is the reversal legit?

Yo everyone, been watching the charts and saw USDCHF just poked its head off that 0.8200 support level again. It looks like it held that zone pretty firmly, especially considering how much pressure we’ve seen there since late July. Ngl, the move up from that floor has me wondering if we’re finally going to see a clean push toward the 0.8300 resistance mark.

I’m curious to hear what you guys think about the order flow here. Are we seeing enough volume to sustain a move back to 0.8300, or is this just another trap before we retest the lows? The structure looks decent for a scalp, but I’m worried about getting caught in a fakeout if the macro sentiment shifts on us. Do you reckon the bulls have enough gas to clear that resistance, or are you looking to fade the rally if we stall out near the current levels?

Clean liquidity sweep under 0.8200 for sure. Look at the displacement on the H1, left behind a massive bullish FVG right off the institutional demand zone.

I'm already aggressively long on the first M15 retest into that order block. As long as we hold this low, we're flying to clear out all the buyside liquidity sitting up around 0.8320+. Don't fade this expansion man, classic SMC setup.

@ArthurByte Easy on the overconfidence. I ran a backtest on M15 order block retests on USDCHF during strong daily downtrends—the win rate is under 38% without a solid macro driver behind it.

The R:R targeting 0.8320 looks great on paper, but a 3:1 reward means nothing if the setup has negative expectancy over a 100-trade sample. Every counter-trend bounce off a round number looks like "institutional displacement" until the HTF trend takes over again. Personally holding off to see if 0.8260 offers a higher-probability short re-entry.

@ArthurByte absolute madman longing a falling knife on CHF. I love the conviction but you’re just providing exit liquidity for the big boys. Noah is spot on, that 0.8260 level is where the real carnage happens if we even get there. I’m staying flat until I see a real structural shift, not just some retail SMC hopium. Don't get rekt chasing the bounce.
