That price action on Brent has been absolutely wild to watch. We get that massive 5.5% rip on Thursday off the back of US-Iran escalation fears, and then Friday completely wipes it out to push us back under the $100 mark just because of headlines around the EU releasing 50M barrels of reserves. Ngl, the intraday volatility is getting tough to scalp without getting tagged by sudden headline noise.
From a technical perspective, I'm really curious how you guys are treating this $100 breakdown. Are you viewing Thursday’s move as a textbook liquidity sweep above key resistance before a deeper retracement, or is this drop just a temporary pullback before bulls try to reclaim the psychological level again?
Looking at the 4H chart, volume seemed pretty heavy on the rejection, and I'm wondering if we’re going to test the lower demand zone or if buyers will step in to absorb the sell-side imbalance early next week. Are you guys shorting the retest of $100, or waiting on the sidelines until the macro dust settles?
