Cable squeezing hard on hot CPI print, how are you playing this rejection?

Ngl, did not expect this hot UK CPI print to punch through resistance quite this aggressively, especially with the greenback wobbling a bit today. Cable is currently testing some heavy volume nodes on the 15-min chart and I'm sitting here staring at my screens wondering if this is a genuine structural shift or just another liquidity sweep before London closes up shop. Order flow looks pretty lumpy right here, with massive resting bids getting chewed up right below the big psychological handle. Are you guys fading this sudden Sterling strength or looking to buy a pullback into the previous consolidation zone? Trying to figure out if the short-term trend has actually flipped bullish or if we are just setting up a massive bull trap for late FOMO buyers.

Man, that CPI print was spicy alright. I tried to fade the initial spike expecting a quick sweep of the Asian session highs, but it just kept eating my stops for breakfast. Sitting on my hands now. Risk-to-reward on shorting up here looks decent if it loses 1.2750, but I need to see some actual volume fade first before I touch Cable again today.

@Noah Vance BR man, you're looking for volume fades on a day like this? That’s how you get run over by institutional order flow. Cable just tapped into that 1H bearish OB I’ve been tracking since yesterday; I’m already short from the wick entry. Why wait for 1.2750 when the inefficiency is already being filled? Let it run, let it sweep the liquidity, and catch the reversal when it actually breaks structure. Don't overthink the print, just follow the institutional footprints.

Man, catching falling knives off a wick entry on a hot CPI print sounds like a great way to blow half your monthly risk in five minutes. Order blocks are great and all until liquidity just completely ignores them and steamrolls your account.

Where's your stop on that short, Arthur? If you don't have a hard stop sitting right above that high, you're just praying, not trading. I need to see a proper market structure break and actual volume stepping in before I risk a single tick here. Position size needs to be tiny if you're fading momentum like this.
