Saw the news that Clear Street officially plugged into TradingView for direct order execution on US stocks, ETFs, and options. Since Clear Street acquired CenterPoint a while back and has institutional-grade plumbing, I'm really curious how this is going to affect actual intraday tape dynamics.
TradingView has millions of retail eyes watching the exact same VWAP retests, supply zones, and daily horizontal support and resistance levels. If a huge wave of active chartists starts firing market and bracket orders straight off the Supercharts interface, do you guys think we'll start seeing way more aggressive liquidity sweeps and stop runs around key psychological levels?
I'm trying to figure out if this concentrated order flow hitting the books directly from the charts will make breakouts cleaner or just create nastier fakeouts on low-timeframe setups.
Are any of you planning to test executing scalps directly on TV through Clear Street, or are you sticking to dedicated direct-access platforms to watch the DOM at key levels?
