Hey everyone, hope your week is treating your bags better than mine. I was literally sitting here with my coffee this morning, staring at my multi-monitor setup while half my limit orders were getting filled, and I just had to fire up this thread. We are sitting at some insanely critical macro junctions right now across both FX and crypto, and honestly, if you aren't paying attention to the charts right beneath your nose, you are gonna get absolutely rekt before the weekend hits.

Let's start with the traditional side because the EUR/USD pair is driving me nuts. I was looking at the charts earlier and saw it hovering around 1.1149. It is heading straight into its fifth consecutive weekly decline, which is wild to watch in real time. Even though the sell-off is slowing down just a tiny bit, the euro remains heavily under pressure against the dollar. The Fed kept rates unchanged, and the dollar initially dipped, but it stabilized almost immediately because the market got zero clear signals that the tightening cycle is actually over. The Fed is staying active, and until we see a decisive break, I'm scaling in very carefully. Reminds me of that painful lesson I learned back in 2022 when I tried to catch a falling knife on forex without a proper stoploss and watched my account bleed out for three straight days. Never again, man. DCA is your friend, but only when the trend isn't actively eating your face off.

Speaking of getting rekt, have you guys seen the absolute chaos dropping in the crypto news feed today? TRM Labs came out saying they have high confidence attributing a massive chunk of funds to North Korea’s TraderTraitor group linked right back to a staggering $6.3B Binance hack. On top of that, ZachXBT pointed out that stolen funds from both the Binance and Bitget hacks are literally converging at the exact same deposit address. It's insane. The exploits just keep getting larger, and yet crypto twitter is somehow more focused on whether memecoins are going to pump through resistance. Talk about terminal fomo.

Anyway, looking closer at the technical setups, I am eyeing some major breakout levels on the shorter timeframes for my scalping setups. Volume is starting to dry up a bit as traders hesitate ahead of the next data dump, but that usually means a violent expansion is loading. If we break the upper channel resistance on the dollar index, everything else is gonna flush hard. Are you guys hedging your long spots here or just sitting in stablecoins waiting for the bloodbath to finish?
