Is this DeepSeek dip on NVDA actually worth buying?

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to stock trading and honestly a bit lost with everything going on right now. I saw everyone panicking over this DeepSeek news and dumping Nvidia, Broadcom, and basically every major AI stock on the market. Ngl I almost panic sold my tiny NVDA position because seeing that much red was brutal, but I managed to hold on for now.

Now I'm reading reports saying the whole selloff is completely overblown and DeepSeek isn't actually going to wreck the US tech giants like everyone thought. Part of me is getting serious FOMO thinking this might be a golden chance to buy the dip before these big names rip back up toward ATH, but I'm lowkey scared it might dump further if I rush in too early.

For the experienced traders here, how are you handling this whole situation? Are you actually loading up on this drop or just waiting on the sidelines to see what happens next?

First off, good on you for not panic selling. That's half the battle when you're starting out.

Personally, I'm just sitting on my hands right now. Everyone's screaming buy the dip, but if you look at the daily chart, this kind of panic doesn't just vanish in a day. Let the dust settle, wait for a proper base to form, and let the 4H charts give us a clear entry. No need to rush in and catch a falling knife just because of FOMO. Patience pays way better than a quick trigger finger in markets like this.

Totally agree with waiting for the dust to settle. If you pull up the daily on NVDA, that RSI was completely exhausted on the way down, but we still haven't seen a clean bullish MACD crossover on the 4-hour yet. I'm keeping a very close eye on the volume profile before adding to my bag, definitely don't want to step in front of this freight train just yet.

Man, honestly, forget the AI hype for a second. Everyone is obsessing over the DeepSeek headlines, but watch the macro data. We have NFP coming up and if that number comes in hot, the whole market is going to puke regardless of what Nvidia is doing. Don't marry your bags, just trade the volatility. I'm staying cash until I see how the bond market reacts to the next print. Don't get cute.
