Every single time the timeline starts reassuring everyone that a $100M deposit is harmless custodian housekeeping, the order book gets completely nuked six hours later. If everyone is convinced it's noise, that's usually my cue to start scaling into a cheeky short. Someone is looking for an exit door.

@Liam Walker you're playing with fire betting on the direction of a whale move like that. Whether it's an exit or an OTC fill doesn't matter if you get squeezed by a random wick. How are you sizing that short? If you aren't running a tight stop, a hundred million dollar deposit is just enough liquidity for the market makers to hunt your stops before doing whatever they were going to do anyway. I’m staying flat until the volatility settles, because catching a falling knife is a great way to blow an account.
