Really confused about the Dollar hitting lows and the Iran news

Hey everyone, I’m still pretty new to the forex scene and honestly I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed today. I just saw that the Dollar is hanging around its 3-week low and the Euro and Yen aren't really moving much while everyone watches what's happening with Iran. Ngl it’s pretty stressful trying to figure out if this is a dip I should be buying or if the Dollar is just going to keep sliding. I’m worried about fomo but also terrified of getting liquidated if things escalate suddenly.

I’ve heard people say the Yen is a safe haven when stuff kicks off in the Middle East, but everything feels so stuck and consolidated right now. Does anyone have advice for a beginner trying to navigate this kind of heavy news? I'm not trying to scalp every tiny move or act like a pro, I just want to know if I should be holding or just staying out of the way until the market decides what it's doing. It feels like a total guessing game when politics get involved and I don't want to blow my account on a random headline.

How do you guys actually play these geopolitical events without losing your minds?
