Ngl, I am sitting here staring at the charts trying to make sense of this latest USD price action. We just got a hot PPI print that should have lit a fire under the greenback, but instead, the dollar is just bleeding out because of this aggressive bond rally. Yields are dropping and dragging USD down with them, while the euro is catching a massive bid, printing its best single day in two months.
I am trying to map out where this leaves our key support zones on the DXY. Are we looking at a clean breakdown of range support, or is this just a liquidity sweep before a sharp mean reversion? My short-term trend indicators are screaming short, but order flow looks choppy around these current levels and I am hesitant to chase the move down here and get trapped by a sudden macro reversal.
Anyone else playing this euro strength or shorting the dollar right now, and what levels are you watching on the 4-hour chart for a pullback?
