Saw that piece about the Strive CEO claiming BTC could literally moon to infinity because the fiat debt situation is totally cooked. Ngl, it's easy to get caught up in the hyper-bullish sentiment when you look at macro debt charts, but man, hearing infinity targets always gives me mild PTSD from the last cycle peak. Reminds me of 2021 when everyone and their mum was calling six-figure prices right before the rug got pulled and we chopped sideways for months.

Look, the dollar endgame thesis is solid long-term, and stacking sats makes total sense as an inflation hedge. But practical experience tells me that when mainstream hype starts screaming infinity, that is usually my cue to check my leverage and tighten up risk management. Don't get caught holding heavy bags just because of some macro soundbite on the timeline. Take profits on the way up and keep some cash ready for the inevitable shakeouts.

How are you guys managing your risk exposure right now with all this macro doom and gloom in the air?

Whenever people start throwing around "infinite" targets, the math-minded part of my brain just shuts down because you literally cannot calculate a risk-to-reward ratio on infinity. Honestly, historical backtests show that when sentiment metrics get this detached from reality, the probability of a sharp mean reversion sky-rockets. I'm not trying to time the absolute peak, but I've already automated my profit-taking based on standard deviation bands and volume profiles. Better to bank a proven 3R or 4R trade than get greedy on a macro narrative.

Spot on. Whenever I hear "infinity" or "supercycle," I just start looking for the nearest daily swing high to park my stop loss. Everyone is obsessed with the macro narrative, but the charts don't care about the dollar endgame when a heavy supply zone is sitting right overhead. Just watch the reaction at the major levels and stop listening to the noise. If the price isn't respecting structure, the macro thesis is just an expensive way to lose your shirt.

Honestly, hearing people talk about "infinite" tops just makes me want to close my laptop and walk away from the charts for a week. @Noah Vance BR is dead right—you can't trade a narrative, and you definitely can't trade infinity. I’ve been sitting on my hands for the last few days waiting for the 4H structure to actually give me a clean setup rather than chasing these parabolic candles. If you aren't playing for R:R, you're just gambling, and the guys calling for infinite tops are the ones who usually provide the liquidity for the rest of us to get out. Stay patient, ignore the macro noise, and let the charts do the talking.

Spot on, Noah. Every time these guys start chanting about the "dollar endgame" and infinite upside, it just reminds me of late 2021 right before the rug got pulled. They completely ignore what the Fed is actually doing in the background. With sticky inflation and the real possibility of more rate hikes, liquidity isn't going to stay infinite for long anyway. People are completely blind to macro reality right now.
