Hey everyone, I’m still pretty new to the markets and trying to wrap my head around how news actually moves prices.
I was looking at the charts today and noticed that stocks like Coinbase and MicroStrategy are bouncing back after that selloff caused by the CLARITY Act headlines. I honestly thought that any news about the SEC or CFTC taking action would be bad for crypto companies, so I’m a little confused as to why they’re rallying right now.

Is the market just ignoring the regulations, or am I missing something about how these agencies use their "existing authority"? Does this usually mean the uncertainty is over, or is this just a "dead cat bounce"?
Would love to hear how you veterans interpret these kinds of headlines. Should I be looking at this as a buying opportunity, or is it safer to stay on the sidelines until things settle down? Any advice for a beginner trying to understand this correlation would be super appreciated!
