Everyone buying Brent on geopolitical headlines is begging to get dumped on

Looking at the feeds today and everyone is losing their minds over the latest Middle East headlines. Aramco drama, Iran making noise around Hormuz again, Brent spiking to multi-week highs, and the herd is immediately piling into longs screaming about supply crunches. Ngl, it feels like pure textbook FOMO right now.

Am I the only one who thinks this rally is completely overblown? Geopolitical risk premiums get pumped overnight, but they almost always evaporate the second the news cycle cools down unless physical barrels actually get taken off the market. We’ve seen this exact script play out dozens of times. Meanwhile, underlying global demand is hardly screaming strength, yet traders are happily bidding up crude at the top of the range like we're heading straight to triple digits.

Honestly feels like prime exit liquidity being set up for the late bulls. I’m seriously tempted to fade this move once the initial panic volume starts drying up, because buying after a headline spike usually just ends with you holding bags a week later.

Who's actually chasing this breakout right now, or are you guys looking to short this pump?
