I keep seeing people popping champagne because of the mass resignations at the SEC and CFTC, acting like a skeleton crew is the ultimate win for the crypto market. Everyone is screaming about "deregulation" and how this is going to make the next leg up to ATH an absolute breeze. Honestly? I think you’re all missing the bigger picture here. A regulator that’s too understaffed to work isn’t a free-market paradise; it’s a setup for absolute chaos.

When these agencies are stretched this thin, they don't just stop working—they start getting erratic. Instead of clear guidance or consistent enforcement, we’re likely looking at a massive void where legitimate projects get ignored and the wild west of bad actors runs rampant. If the SEC or CFTC can’t effectively police the space because they’re down to three commissioners, the first big collapse or liquidity crisis will be used as the perfect excuse for a draconian legislative crackdown later on. We aren't getting freedom, we’re just getting a temporary gap in the fence before the bulldozer arrives. Is a lack of oversight really bullish if it invites a massive regulatory overreaction the second things get messy?
