Hey guys, I’ve been reading a bit about this French bond sell-off and how those CDS things are hitting 2013 highs, but honestly, I’m a bit lost on how this actually affects the markets. I usually just scalp some tech stocks and try not to get fomo, but this sounds like it might be a bigger deal than just some local news.

Should I be worried about this spilling over into broader markets or is it just noise for now? I’m still pretty new to the macro side of things and I really don't want to get caught holding a bag if everything starts tanking because of Europe. Does anyone know if I should be adjusting my stops or just ignoring this for now? Any advice from the pros here would be much appreciated, ngl I’m feeling a bit out of my depth.

Honestly, I'd keep a close eye on the bond yields before panic selling anything. If you look at the daily, the RSI is showing some serious bearish divergence on the OATs, which usually signals we might be due for a breather soon. That said, if you're levered up, just watch for a clean MACD crossover on the weekly; if that signal flips, the volatility is definitely going to spill over into your equity positions. Don't overthink it, just watch the technicals and don't catch a falling knife.

@Zakami Ng overthinking the MACD again while the macro is literally screaming for liquidity. If the OATs blow up, your technicals won't mean squat when the margin calls start hitting. Stay levered if you want to get absolutely rekt, but I’m trimming equity exposure until the dust settles. Don't be a hero.

Spot on, Leo. Everyone's staring at indicators while smart money is already clearing liquidity below those daily order blocks. If you're long equities here, you're just begging to get swept. I'm completely flat on risk until we mitigate that massive 4-hour FVG.

Man, I love reading threads like this. It’s like a masterclass in watching people talk themselves out of money.

Everyone is acting like this French bond story is some kind of black swan event when it’s basically just the flavor of the week for the financial media to fearmonger over. While you guys are all scrambling to go flat and obsessing over 4-hour FVG gaps like they’re the ten commandments, I’m actually looking for entry points. Every time this forum gets this consensus-level "risk off" bearish, the market does the exact opposite. Keep trimming your positions and staring at your charts while the rest of us pick up the shares you’re panic-selling at a discount. See you on the other side of the rally.
