Look, everyone is cheering this latest bounce off the $4120 area like gold just conquered the world again, but I am honestly not buying the mainstream hype. Every time the metals crowd starts popping champagne after shaking off a hot CPI print, it feels like they are completely ignoring the broader macro picture just to feed their own FOMO. Sure, it held the line and faded the drop, but how many times can we test the exact same floor before it finally gives way under the weight of actual reality? Ngl, it feels like weak hands are just delaying the inevitable flush while the smart money uses these relief bounces to quietly offload bags onto retail. If real yields stay sticky and the Fed keeps the pressure on longer than the consensus expects, that support zone is going to turn into Swiss cheese. Am I the only one seeing a massive double top forming, or are you guys actually trusting this dead cat bounce?
