Hey guys, I was just reading about the Strive CEO saying Bitcoin could literally go to infinity because the US dollar debt situation is getting out of hand. Ngl, as someone who just started learning about all this macro stuff, my head is kind of spinning. Does this actually mean the dollar is going to collapse soon, or is this just standard crypto hype? I keep seeing people on twitter saying we are heading for a massive ATH, but I am holding a very small bag right now and honestly feeling major FOMO while trying not to do anything stupid. For the more experienced traders out there, how do you even trade news like this without getting wrecked by sudden dips? Should I just DCA and chill, or is there something specific I should be watching on the charts right now?

Everyone is obsessed with this "infinite" narrative right now, which is exactly why I’m keeping my shorts open. When the talking heads start shouting about currency collapse to sell their books or bags, that’s usually the signal that the local top is already in.

Don't buy the hype. The dollar isn't going anywhere tomorrow, and everyone screaming about hyperinflation is just ignoring the fact that liquidity is still being vacuumed up by the Fed. If you're feeling FOMO, you're already behind the curve. Just sit on your hands and wait for the inevitable liquidity crunch that wipes out the over-leveraged long positions. Trade what’s in front of you, not what’s on the nightly news.
