EURUSD bleeding out again are we actually buying this?

Morning everyone, sitting here sipping my third cold coffee of the day while staring at the terminal, and I honestly have to laugh at what's happening on the EURUSD charts right now. Everyone in the main chat room is losing their minds over this latest macro headline cycle, screaming about rate differentials and the Fed turning active again like it's some kind of profound revelation. But if you zoom out past all the noise and actually look at the price action around this 1.1150 handle, it just feels like the exact same old trap we have seen a dozen times before. Fifth consecutive weekly decline and people are still trying to catch falling knives because they saw some influencer post a half baked technical analysis screenshot on X.

Reminds me of my setup test last month when I tried to scalpp a minor bounce near support during the ECB decision morning. Got completely rekt because I let short term fomo override my risk management rules. Took a massive hit to the account balance simply because I ignored the broader structural trend in favor of a pretty looking chart pattern on the five minute frame. Ever since that expensive lesson, I refuse to chase these choppy moves without clear confirmation, yet half the forum is back to FOMOing into long positions just because the dollar dipped for roughly ten minutes after the PCE print landed in line with expectations.

The reality is that Europe is still dealing with its own massive structural headaches while the US yields are holding steady, and no amount of optimistic retail wishful thinking is going to change the macro reality overnight. Sure, the sell off is slowing down a bit right now, but a loss of momentum doesn't automatically equal a bullish reversal. People love to talk about DCAing into weakness, but there is a massive difference between disciplined long term accumulation and just throwing good capital after bad trades because you are stubborn about being right.

Anyway, are any of you actually holding shorts from higher up, or are you just gambling pocket change on these tiny intraday relief bounces?
