Alright guys, hear me out because I know everyone is losing their minds over ESMA's latest power trip regarding non-MiCA stablecoins. The general sentiment in the tg chats right now is pure doom and gloom, with everyone crying about over-regulation killing European crypto liquidity and forcing everyone offshore. But ngl, I think people are missing the bigger picture here. Everyone is screaming about government overreach, but nobody wants to talk about what happens when the Wild West days actually get cleaned up. Sure, blocking alternative routes and forcing a three-month wind-down stings short-term, but it basically hands a massive monopoly silver platter directly to compliant players like Circle. If you're holding bags of unbacked or sketchy offshore garbage, yeah, you're toast and good luck. But structurally? This clears out all the systemic risk noise and gives institutional money the green light they've been begging for since day one. Stop crying about the red tape and look at who survives this purge.
Are we seriously panicking over regulatory clarity, or is everyone just salty their favorite loophole got slammed shut?
