Watching yields slide for a third straight week while everyone suddenly starts stressing over AI valuations gives me serious deja vu, mate. Back when I first started trading, I used to completely ignore the bond market, thinking Treasuries were just for boomer funds while I chased high-beta momentum plays. But after taking a couple of nasty drawdowns during past tech shakeouts, I learned the hard way that the bond desk usually sniffs out risk-off sentiment way before equity traders even finish waking up. When money quietly ducks into bonds and yields bleed out, smart money is already de-risking the crowded trades.

If you are loaded up to the gills on semiconductor runners and AI hype names, this is the exact environment where you need to check your ego and manage your sizing. Personally, whenever I see a persistent flight to safety like this, I immediately tighten my trailing stops and take some chips off the table. It is tempting to hold through every dip because of FOMO, ngl, but capital preservation is the only reason I am still here trading today. You do not need to catch the exact top, you just need to avoid getting caught holding bags when the market decides to rotate out of growth.

Are you guys trimming tech and hedging with bonds here, or are you just planning to ride out the chop?

Man, tell me about it. This whole setup is giving me major flashbacks to 2022. I'm just glued to the daily charts right now waiting for a clean MACD crossover on the indices before I commit any real size. If the RSI divergence on the tech sector actually plays out like it usually does, we're probably looking at a brutal flush first. Don't force any trades here, just let the market come to you.
