Hey guys, I am still pretty fresh to all this macro stuff and honestly I am super confused right now. I was looking at the charts and saw a news blurb saying the U.S. dollar just posted its best month since June because of some hawkish Fed stuff and a total bond rout. Ngl, my brain is kind of fried trying to figure out what this actually means for my tiny account. Does this mean forex is just going to keep bleeding against the USD forever now, or is a pullback coming soon? Some of you experienced traders must have seen this movie before. Should I be holding cash, or is there a way to actually trade this trend without getting completely rekt? How do you guys usually play these massive dollar breakouts?

Honestly, man, stop trying to find a "why" for every single candle. The DXY is just doing its thing, and if you're staring at the 1H charts trying to make sense of the noise, you're gonna get chopped to pieces. I’ve been sitting on my hands for three days waiting for a decent setup on the daily timeframe; the market rewards the patient, not the guys frantically chasing this pump. Just step back, look at the higher timeframes, and stop overtrading.
